They are decent for the price. I purchased the speaker stand for my Polk Audio RM101 series speakers. I had to return a piece due to quality issues, other than that, no issues with the stands.
All expectations met. :) easy to set up and do exactly what I needed of them. My wife was happy as I was going to put them on ceiling mounts.
Being metal it seems like it should be stronger than that. - and when my 2 yr old stood on it, it broke again. Decent price, looks nice, adjustable height. One of the kids stepped on the base and it split in half. Super-glued it back together (what else could you do).
Being able to raise the speaker and hide the cord is perfect. Easy set up. Great price.
I am considering painting them black. The stands are more of a matte grey than the shiny silver in the pic. These are perfectly good stands and you can't really beat the price. I have used these stands for a Panasonic SC-PT650 home theater as well as a Sony HT-SS2300 home theater. I have had no problems with either system. They have a sturdy, heavy base, but can be kind of tricky to fit in small spaces though.
